WITH SHARED SCREEN - SKYPE NOW ALLOW YOU TO SHARE FILE WHILE MAKING CALLS
Skype is finally doing one of the things I always
desire to see on IM apps. That is the ability to do something else when on a
call. The mobile screen sharing feature was introduced by Skype in April this
year and it is now publicly available to all mobile users.
Having a video call should not limit your
functionality. At that is one reason many users will be excited to be able to
share a document or presentation with others user during a video call.
To access the option:
While on a Skype call, tap the new “…” menu
click on ‘Share screen’ option to start sharing their
screen with others.
Note: The redesigned “…” menu now also allows users to
access features like call recording and subtitles.
Remember that you need to update your apps to the
latest version of the Skype on App store to enjoy this feature
I believe this feature will also be
coming to other IMs (most likely Telegram) very soon.
